Road lighting is a crucial component of urban lighting. Traditional streetlights often utilize high-pressure sodium lamps, which emit light in all directions (360 degrees); this significant light loss results in a massive waste of energy. Amidst global environmental deterioration, nations worldwide are actively developing clean energy sources. Meanwhile, my country's rapid economic growth has intensified the imbalance between energy supply and demand, leading to severe electricity shortages; consequently, energy conservation has become an urgent priority. Therefore, the development of LED streetlights-characterized by high efficiency, energy savings, longevity, superior color rendering, and environmental friendliness-is of great significance for energy conservation in urban lighting.
Road lighting is closely linked to people's work and daily lives. As my country's urbanization accelerates, LED streetlights are gaining prominence due to advantages such as directional light emission, low power consumption, excellent driving characteristics, rapid response times, high shock resistance, long service life, and environmental sustainability. Having emerged as a next-generation energy-saving light source that surpasses traditional options, LED streetlights represent the optimal choice for energy-saving retrofits in road lighting systems.
