Company & Factory Strength

01Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a 100% in-house manufacturer, not a trading company. Our own production base integrates R&D, manufacturing, and global sales under one roof, supported by fully automated production lines.

For you, that means factory-direct pricing with no middleman margin, direct access to the engineers who designed the fixture, and full traceability from raw material to finished product.

About SAHUNG →

02How many years of experience do you have in industrial LED lighting?

Over 10 years. We have been focused on the mid-to-high-end industrial LED lighting segment since our founding, and have built up deep engineering experience in demanding applications - hazardous areas, tunnels, high-mast ports, and broadcast-grade sports venues.

03Where is your factory located? Can we visit for an audit?

Our production base is in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, roughly two hours from Shanghai by road and easily reached via Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.

We welcome clients worldwide to schedule on-site factory audits. A standard visit covers our SMT and assembly lines, photometric and aging-test labs, QC process, and R&D centre. If travel isn't practical, we also run live virtual factory tours by video call.

04What are your core products and main business focus?

We specialise in industrial and commercial LED lighting across five core lines:

  • LED High Bay Lights - UFO, Linear, Round, Suspended, Smart
  • Explosion-proof Lights - flood, high bay, and emergency fixtures
  • Flood Lights - industrial and sports-grade
  • Tunnel & Street Lights - including sequential dimming systems
  • Stadium & High Mast Lights - 15 m to 40 m masts

Our focus is mid-to-high-end projects that require certified, long-life fixtures - not commodity-grade products.

05What is your monthly production capacity? Can you handle large-scale projects?

Our monthly capacity is approximately 20,000 units, running on fully automated lines with real-time production monitoring for full schedule transparency.

That capacity is what lets us commit to large engineering projects with fixed delivery dates. For reference, we delivered 3,328 explosion-proof fixtures for a single refinery project in Turkmenistan.

06Do you have an in-house R&D team and automated production lines?

Yes to both. We keep a dedicated in-house R&D team covering optics, thermal management, and driver design, so new models and customised variants are engineered internally rather than outsourced.

Our fully automated production lines support real-time production monitoring, which gives you transparent lead times and traceable quality control on every batch.

07Can you provide factory videos or workshop photos?

Absolutely. We can share factory walkthrough videos and high-resolution photos of our production lines, testing labs, and finished-goods warehouse.

Tell us what they're for - supplier pre-qualification, tender documentation, or your own marketing - and we'll send the right format and resolution.

08Do you have overseas project references?

Yes. Recent flagship projects include:

  • Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex, Turkmenistan - 3,328 explosion-proof LED fixtures
  • Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo Stadium, Venezuela - competition-grade stadium lighting
  • G56 Hangzhou Expressway - 1,680 smart LED street lights
  • Zhoushan G526 Highway - 1,500 LED tunnel lights

Product Specifications & Selection

09What LED high bay light series do you offer?

Five core series, each built for a different mounting height and layout:

  • UFO High Bay - compact round design, best all-rounder for 6–14 m
  • Linear High Bay - for aisles, production lines, low ceilings
  • Round High Bay - classic form factor with wide beam options
  • Suspended High Bay - pendant mounting with reflector options
  • Smart High Bay - sensor and dimming control built in

Send us your ceiling height and target lux and we'll tell you which series fits.

High Bay Lights →

10What is the difference between UFO and linear high bay lights?

UFO high bays use a circular, integrated housing with excellent heat dissipation and wide beam angles. They're the best choice for general lighting in large open spaces - warehouses, logistics centres, and assembly halls.

Linear high bays are designed for low ceilings, production lines, and racking aisles. Their elongated light-emitting surface delivers uniform illumination along the aisle without the dark spots you get between point sources.

11How do explosion-proof lights differ from standard industrial lights?

Explosion-proof (hazardous area) fixtures use a sealed flameproof enclosure that isolates internal sparks, arcs, and hot surfaces from any flammable gas or dust outside the housing. They're mandatory in chemical plants, oil depots, and coal mines.

Standard industrial lights are built for general warehouses and factories where no explosive atmosphere is present. They look similar, but they are not a substitute - using a standard fixture in a classified zone is a compliance and safety failure.

Hazardous Area Lighting →

12Where should explosion-proof flood lights vs. explosion-proof high bay lights be used?

Explosion-proof flood lights are for outdoor hazardous areas - chemical storage yards, tank farms, loading bays, and pump stations. They project a wide beam across open ground.

Explosion-proof high bay lights are for indoor hazardous areas - workshops and warehouses where flammable dust or gas may accumulate, and where the mounting height calls for a downward high-bay distribution.

13How long is the backup time on your explosion-proof emergency lights?

90 minutes minimum. Our emergency fixtures carry built-in lithium battery packs that provide at least 90 minutes of continuous illumination after a mains failure.

That duration is what fire safety codes require in chemical plants and other high-risk facilities, giving enough time for safe evacuation and shutdown procedures.

14What distinguishes sports flood lights from standard industrial flood lights?

Sports flood lights use anti-glare optics, high CRI, and precisely controlled narrow beam distributions. The goal is competition-level uniformity on the field of play, with no dazzle for athletes and minimal spill into surrounding areas.

Standard industrial flood lights only deliver basic area illumination. They're fine for yards and facades, but they won't meet the uniformity or glare limits of a competition venue or a broadcast camera.

15Should tunnel lights be ceiling-mounted or side-mounted?

Side-mounted is typically used for narrow, single-lane tunnels. A low-angle asymmetric beam washes the road surface and tunnel walls efficiently, and maintenance is easier because fixtures sit within reach of the walkway.

Ceiling-mounted suits long, multi-lane, two-way tunnels that need wide, uniform coverage across the full carriageway.

We don't guess - our team models both options in a Dialux simulation and recommends the one that meets your luminance and uniformity targets at the lowest installed wattage.

16What is "sequential dimming" in smart tunnel lighting?

Sequential dimming automatically adjusts each fixture's brightness according to time of day and traffic flow. Fixtures at the tunnel entrance run brighter in daylight and step down progressively as you move inside.

This creates a smooth brightness transition that eliminates the "black hole effect" - the dangerous moment when a driver's eyes can't adjust entering a tunnel - while cutting energy use substantially during low-traffic night hours.

17Are your stadium lights flicker-free for HD TV broadcasting?

Yes. Our stadium fixtures use high-frequency constant-current drivers that eliminate visible flicker, meeting the requirements of HD and Ultra-HD live sports broadcasting - including super slow-motion replay, where conventional drivers produce visible banding.

18How do football field and tennis court lights differ in power and optics?

Football fields use high-power fixtures (typically 500W–1500W) with long-throw optics, mounted on tall masts to cover a large pitch uniformly.

Tennis courts use lower-power fixtures with narrow beams, mounted lower and aimed precisely to keep light inside the court. The priority is avoiding light pollution for surrounding residential areas while keeping vertical illuminance high enough to track a fast ball.

19What mast heights are your high mast lights compatible with?

15 m to 40 m, on both fixed masts and mechanically lowering (winch) systems.

Typical applications are ports and container yards, highway toll plazas, large open storage areas, and rail freight terminals. Lowering masts are strongly recommended above 20 m - they let your crew service fixtures at ground level instead of hiring a boom lift.

20Which LED chip and driver brands do you use?

As standard we build with Philips Lumileds LED chips and Mean Well or INVENTRONICS drivers - components that are widely accepted in international tenders and backed by long-term supply.

If your project specification or tender document names a different brand, tell us at enquiry stage and we'll source it.

21What is the IP rating of your fixtures?

IP65 as standard, with IP66 available across most of our range. Both ratings are fully dust-tight; IP66 additionally withstands powerful water jets.

That covers virtually all outdoor and industrial environments, including wash-down areas and coastal sites. If you need IK impact ratings or marine-grade corrosion protection, mention it in your enquiry.

22What operating temperature range can your lights handle?

Our fixtures are rated for -40°C to +80°C, so they run reliably in extreme cold - northern winters, cold storage - as well as in high-heat environments such as steel plants and Middle East summers.

23What CRI (Colour Rendering Index) can your products achieve?

CRI >80 is standard across the range. CRI >90 is available where colour accuracy is critical - sports broadcasting, quality inspection lines, printing, and food processing.

Other CRI values can be produced on request for specific project requirements.

24What is the rated lifetime (L70) of your fixtures?

Our industrial fixtures are rated at L70 > 100,000 hours at 25°C ambient - meaning they still deliver at least 70% of initial lumen output after 100,000 hours of operation.

That figure comes from LM-80 test data and TM-21 projection, not a marketing estimate. The reports are available on request for your project file.

At 12 hours a day, 100,000 hours is roughly 22 years - in most industrial applications the fixture body and optics outlast the building's lighting layout.

Customization & Technical Services

25What customization options do you offer for industrial lights?

Our standard customisation scope covers:

  • Electrical - voltage, wattage, dimming protocol (0-10V / DALI / DMX)
  • Optical - colour temperature, beam angle, CRI, lens type
  • Mechanical - housing finish, bracket type, cable length, connector
  • Branding - logo (laser / silk-screen / label), packaging, manual, nameplate
  • Safety - specific Ex classification for hazardous areas
26Can explosion-proof lights be customized for a specific Ex rating?

Yes. We engineer fixtures to the hazardous area classification your site actually requires - gas group (IIA / IIB / IIC), zone (Zone 1 / Zone 2), and temperature class (T1–T6).

Send us your area classification drawing or hazard assessment, and we'll confirm the matching certified model rather than overselling you a specification you don't need.

Hazardous Area Solutions →

27Can you customize voltage for different export markets?

Yes. We support 110V, 220V, and universal wide-voltage (100–277V) input, configured for the destination country's grid standard.

Just tell us the target market when you enquire and we'll build to match - this also avoids the compatibility problems that appear at commissioning when fixtures are ordered at the wrong input voltage.

28Do you support custom colour temperature (CCT) and wattage?

Yes. Standard CCTs are 3000K / 4000K / 5000K / 5700K, and wattage can be tuned so you hit your target lux without over-lighting the space.

Both are adjusted to match your project specification - send us the lux requirement and we'll size the wattage accordingly.

29How do I choose the right LED high bay light for my warehouse?

Send us three parameters and we'll do the rest:

  1. Mounting height - from floor to fixture
  2. Floor area - and ideally your racking layout
  3. Target illuminance - required lux at working plane

You'll get back a fixture layout with model, wattage, beam angle, quantity, and mounting positions - free of charge.

30Do you offer free professional lighting design services?

Yes - completely free of charge, with no obligation to order. Our technical team provides:

  • Dialux / AGi32 simulation of your space
  • Recommendations on wattage, beam angle, CRI, and mounting layout
  • A photometric report and lux contour drawing you can submit with your tender

Most designs are returned within 2–3 working days.

31Do you support OEM logo and custom packaging?

Yes. We offer logo branding (laser engraving, silk-screen printing, or label) and custom carton design, with a typical lead time of around 15 days for the first order.

For distributors we can also produce customised manuals, nameplates, and pallet labelling to match your brand.

32Do you provide remote technical support for overseas projects?

Yes, free of charge: installation guidance, dimming and control system commissioning, and lighting design consultation by video call.

Our engineers work in English and can join your site team's calls across time zones - including during your local working hours for commissioning windows.

33Can you send engineers on site for large overseas projects?

Yes. For large-scale international engineering projects we can deploy our engineers for on-site supervision, commissioning, and acceptance testing.

Scope, duration, and cost are quoted per project. Let us know early if on-site support is a tender requirement so we can price it into the bid.

34What is your warranty period?

We provide a 5-year warranty on all industrial LED fixtures, covering the LED module, driver, and housing against defects under normal use.

If a fixture fails within the warranty period, we ship a replacement or replacement parts free of charge - and we don't require you to return the failed unit before we act, so your site isn't left dark while paperwork is processed.

35Do you offer repair services after the warranty period?

Yes - we provide lifetime repair support. Once the warranty has expired you pay only for replacement parts; labour is free.

36What is your after-sales response time?

We respond to all technical and warranty enquiries within 24 hours on working days. Once a claim is approved, replacement parts ship within 3 working days.

For projects in progress we can assign a dedicated contact, so you're not routing an urgent site issue through general sales.

Certifications & Compliance

37What international certifications do your lights hold?

Our products are certified to CE, RoHS, CB, PSE, TISI, ATEX, and CCC, among others, covering the EU, Japan, Thailand, and China markets.

Certificate copies and test reports can be supplied for tender submissions - just tell us which market the bid is for and we'll assemble the right package.

38Do your explosion-proof products have specific certifications?

Yes. Our explosion-proof range is certified to ATEX for export markets and CCC for the domestic Chinese market.

If your project sits outside the EU and requires IECEx, tell us at enquiry stage - certification scope varies by model, and we'd rather confirm it up front than discover the gap at the compliance review.

39Do your products meet energy efficiency standards for target markets?

Yes. Our products comply with DLC Premium and ERP energy efficiency requirements.

In practice this means our fixtures qualify for North American utility rebate programmes and satisfy EU ecodesign rules - both of which are frequently written into tender documents as pass/fail criteria.

40Do you provide LM-79, LM-80, and TM-21 test reports?

Yes. We supply complete LM-79 (luminaire photometric) and LM-80 (LED source lumen maintenance) reports.

TM-21 lifetime projections are calculated from the LM-80 data on request, so you have a documented lifetime figure for your project file rather than a marketing claim.

41Do your products meet standards for specific industries?

Yes. We supply to the standards applicable to chemical plants, fireworks factories, and flour / food processing facilities - environments where combustible dust or explosive atmospheres mean the Ex classification and temperature class must match the site's own hazard assessment.

We'll ask you for the hazard classification before quoting, because the correct answer differs between a flour mill and a solvent plant.

Orders, Payment & Logistics

42What is your standard MOQ?

10 units per model for standard products.

43Is the MOQ negotiable?

Yes. We're open to discussing MOQ for first-time cooperation, sample orders, and specific project requirements.

If you're evaluating us for a larger project, say so in your enquiry - we'd rather ship a small evaluation batch than lose the relationship over a carton quantity.

44Do you provide samples, and are they free?

Yes. Samples of standard models ship within 3–5 working days.

The sample cost is fully refunded against your first bulk order - you only cover the courier fee. For customised or very high-power models, sample lead time and cost are quoted case by case.

45What is the lead time for in-stock products?

7–15 days for standard in-stock models, depending on order quantity and destination.

46What is the production lead time for customized products?
  • Logo and packaging customisation - approximately 15 days
  • New mould development or special parameter customisation - 15–30 days

We confirm the exact schedule in writing before you place the order, and our production monitoring lets us flag any slippage early rather than at the shipping date.

47What payment methods do you accept?

We accept T/T (telegraphic transfer), PayPal, and Western Union.

T/T is standard for container orders; PayPal is usually the most convenient option for samples and small orders.

48Do you accept Letters of Credit (L/C)?

Yes, we accept L/C at sight. Specific terms can be negotiated based on order value, product mix, and the length of our relationship.

49Do you offer tiered wholesale pricing or volume discounts?

Yes. Pricing is tiered by quantity, and project-based pricing is available for large tenders and framework agreements.

Send us your target annual volume rather than a single order quantity - that usually unlocks a better tier.

50What is your standard packaging, and how is shipping damage handled?

Our packaging: reinforced shock-proof export cartons with foam padding and corner protection, palletised for container loading. Custom carton design and pallet labelling are available for distributors.

If damage occurs: send us photos or video of the damaged goods and packaging, and we'll arrange free replacement parts or replacement units. We process claims quickly and won't ask you to ship damaged goods back before we act.

51Can you handle door-to-door shipping and customs clearance (DDP)?

Yes. We ship EXW, FOB, CIF, and DDP.

If you don't work with your own freight forwarder, we can arrange door-to-door delivery including customs clearance and duties for most markets. Just give us the destination port or delivery address when you enquire and we'll quote both options side by side - you'll see exactly what the landed cost difference is.
