Zhoushan G526 Highway: 1,500 LED Tunnel Lights

Zhoushan, China – SAHUNG is proud to announce the successful completion of a critical lighting infrastructure project for the G526 National Highway (Daishan Section) in Zhejiang Province. This major transportation upgrade, connecting Daishan Island to the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port main channel, now relies on over 1,500 sets of SAHUNG’s specialized SDA Series Tunnel Lights to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow through the Nanfeng and Beifeng tunnels.

The G526 Daishan Section is a vital component of the regional transport network, designed to a dual four-lane highway standard with a design speed of 80 km/h. With a total investment of approximately 4.46 billion RMB, this project significantly improves connectivity between Daishan Island and the mainland.

Tunnel environments present unique lighting challenges, requiring high uniformity, glare control, and instant-on capability to adapt to rapid changes in ambient light. SAHUNG’s SDA Series was selected specifically for its ability to meet these rigorous demands:
